Amazed wow. Anyone that doubts how good a show this is has rocks in their head. 90 minute episode that went by in what felt like 20 minutes and you couldn't look away at any time.

At the end, the scene with Arya and the Night King.....

First, never saw it coming and then it was:

Arya FTW!

And then the Night King grabs her by the neck before she can stab him and it was:

Not Arya too

And then when she stabs him with her other hand it was:

ARYA FOR THE MOTHERFUCKING WIN!

Yeah, it didn't take long for the sense of 'this isn't going to go well at all' to set in after the Dothraki were all killed.

And WTF was Bran actually doing the whole time he was 'gone'? He "three-eyed ravened" himself right out of there, and didn't really appear to do anything useful, and then showed back up in time for the Night King.

He warged so we could get a view of what the hell the Night King was up to. Up to that point, he hadn't been on screen at all.

• Dolorous Edd (Ben Crompton), stabbed saving Sam
• Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey), died killing the undead giant
• Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer), stabbed by multiple wights while saving Arya Stark
• Alys Karstark (Megan Parkinson), whom we didn’t see fall…but then Theon was the last one standing in the Godswood
• Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), charging the Night King to protect Bran
• Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen), defending Daenerys to the end
• The Night King, KILLED BY ARYA STARK!
• Melisandre (Carice van Houten), who takes off her magical necklace when the battle is won and gives herself up to old age and the frost.

The Winterfell strategy to put the people of color (the Dothraki and the Unsullied) on the front lines, where most of them died, was a poor choice by the writers, especially in a series with a bad track record in this area.
