The adult movie actress-turned-singer famously began appearing in pornographic movies when she was just 16, beneath the industry age limit of 18.
She starred in more than 100 saucy films before walking away from the industry and launching a pop career, but Lords has now delved into her troubled childhood to reveal a 14-year-old schoolboy sexually assaulted her when she was aged 10 and growing up in Ohio.
In an interview on U.S. Tv show Piers Morgan Tonight, she said, "I was born in Steubenville, Ohio, and I was raped in there. So was my mother. I think there's a sickness in that city."
Lords spoke out to detail her hell as two teenagers from Steubenville went on trial in the U.S. for raping a vulnerable 16 year old.
She also revealed she has written a song about the controversial case, and titled it 'Stupidville' in a play on the city's name.
