Teh One Who Knocks (05-24-2013)
We wanted to do something to volunteer and help out the rescue place. Everyone in the household loves animals and we have a good sized house and a big yard, so why not foster some animals while we can?
Not sure if we will keep her or not. We'll see how it goes...she's a little older than we would have liked for a dog to adopt and she isn't pure black like a pure-bred Newfie (I'm just fussy when it comes to the way dogs look), but who knows, she may be a great dog. We'll see how it goes and we have 2 weeks to decide before we have to start filling out paperwork so she can be put up for adoption if we decide we only want to foster her and not adopt her.
Any room for a Scottish Terrier that's barking mad?
No
any dog helped is good if you have the time and space for them
Sounds like we're going to pick her up tonite
Poor Nermal is gonna commit suicide.
they'll forget to feed one of the big dogs and then it will be - Where's Nermal?
Thats funny, I've never seen a dog cough up a furball before.
Came home from work about a week ago....found this when I walked in the door:
There's a window shelf for the cat(s) so they can lie down and look out the window or just to sleep on. It had a foam cushion underneath the outside covering. The dog must have discovered it.
And she's definitely getting bigger:
For some reference, that toy she is playing with is hollow, you open up the bottom of it (which seals using velcro) and you put a gallon sized milk jug inside it so that it's a reusable toy.
The cat did it. Nermal knew you would blame the dog.
she's grown
A little bit
She's probably somewhere in the 65 lb range now. She turns 6 months old at the end of the month.
