from what I've seen the throwing guy stands relatively close...he lobs it in, the bat is how can you miss huge and then he runs about 20 feet back and forth between wickets (?)

1) they don't throw, they bowl

2) its 22 yards, not feet between the wickets

3) the only cricket I watch is the IPL T20.... the matches that last for days on end make no sense to me at all
