I loved this book. Really fun read, Brooks has some great style.
Pitt fought for the rights to this movie, and I've been looking forward to his adaption for months now.
I'm confused by the talk of a wife From what I understood he wouldn't be fighting zombies per-say. The book is written as an 'oral history,' with the interviewer talking to survivors of the War and their recollections making up most of the book. From what I read, Pitt was set to play the role of the historian doing the rounds and conducting this interviews. But if they've cast a wife, they're either changing the book or he's playing a different character.
I hope they do the movie in a similar style.. it's supposed to mimic the style of Studs Terkel's "The Good War", so changing it for a movie would blow it for those who enjoyed the novel
High hopes on this one
For those who haven't read it... do yourself a favor and download or buy it! So enjoyable

Sometimes I wake up and feel like I cannot face the day. But someday I'll wake up and realize that waking up is pretty stupid because it just makes you feel like crap."
