well there's a happy 10 minutes
so tell me....we catch a guy who cuts 20 people up, abuses and eats their bodies and then freely admits to the crime, even relishing his actions to a certain extent...
even the most deranged psychotic killer knows that he can be punished for his crimes (evidenced by concealing his actions and victims) and also realizes that the end of the road is either 3 squares a day with a roof over his head for life or a humane, painless execution...
so why can't we use some of the above techniques...that last for days...
and make it known that people that break the rules get to look forward to things like The Judas Cradle?

i visited the prague torture museum was a great place to spend a couple of hours
Go visit the Tower of London to see how it was done back in the day...went there in March and it was a bit chilling to think of how many people had been tortured and killed in that one spot.
One of the people there said it's kept out of most of the history books, but they kept exotic animals there and they needed to be fed occasionally, and kibble just wouldn't do. So, that was one way they "disposed" of criminals.
More gruesomeness form a first-hand account... http://www.eyewitnesstohistory.com/torture.htm
