What would you do? (Halloween edition)
So I relayed the situation already in the what are you thinking thread thread:
A kid walks up without a costume wanting candy. He's wearing shorts and a wife beater. I ask him what he's supposed to be and he shrugs and just holds his candy bag out.
It's clear the kid didn't even try and it doesn't even look like he gave a damn. What would you do?

Well it's obvious he's emulating his dad who he recognized on a recent episode of Cops.

The only one annoyed or pensive in this scenario is you. Give him candy, laugh it off, and move on.

I know exactly how I'd handle it - it happened to me about 5 years ago only the kid was wearing jeans and a wife beater. I said "c'mon, man that's not a costume - you look like eveybody's uncle that no one likes to talk about", and gave him his treat.
A few years previous the next door neighbour's daughter (21) dressed up as a school girl. I had a shit-eating grin and said "Nice costume". "I'm getting that a lot" she said and then played with her pigtails. "Get out of here before I start thinking impure thoughts!" I said.
That same year, a kid in a suit came a knocking and he had blood on his forehead. "Kennedy" was his reply when I asked who he was...

you may have to create ' the special candy ' bowl.
take some time and wrap up small rocks using existing candy wrappers...approx 15 minutes for 30 pieces...
lame costume = lame treat

This is for the kids.. If you had at least made an attempt at dressing up maybe. So really, get off my lawn.
