Congrats to Russia. Most medals and most gold, first place no matter which way you count the medals. Regardless of all the controversy, it was incredibly well done. Aside from those looking to write
scathing headlines, athletes and broadcasters have raved about the venues, weather and city.
Canada came third in gold medal count and our record of 14 golds from 2010 still stands unbeaten (Russia had 13).
Damn what an awesome two weeks for sports. Cannot wait for Rio 2016 and more so for South Korea 2018!!
Awesome to see Russia had this sense of humour to poke fun at themselves during the closing ceremonies
