Y'all need to stop voting Democrat up there.
I know that in Georgia, the majority vote wins. The entire state votes for the Governor and US Senators and several statewide positions. US representatives are elected in their respective districts. I'm in Georgia's 1st US Congressional district, so Buddy Carter's my guy in the House of Representatives. We've got 14 US Congressional districts in total. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are (regrettably) my US Senators. They're both Democrats. We're hoping to get rid of Warnock in 2022. Ossoff's in until 2026. Can't do nothing about it until then. I'm in Georgia's 180th State District. Steven Sainz is my guy in GA's Lower Assembly. Sheila McNeill is my Senator in GA's Upper Assembly for GA Senate District 3. It looks like there are 56 GA state Senate Districts

Internet is down at work again...this is like the 4th or 5th time in the last month or so.
Saw a lot more people wearing their masks in the stores the last couple of days. Still a decent amount not, but I would say it's now tilted above 55-60% of people wearing them now. Except at Target, wife and I went there on Sunday and a good 95% of people there were wearing them. We got the ol' side-eye from quite a few of the self-righteous people in there. I think it's hilarious. Still waiting for someone to say something to us/me, but so far other than dirty looks, no one has said anything.
Not sure what it is that people don't understand. The pandemic part of Covid is OVER. It's been over for awhile now. This virus is now endemic, it's going to be just like the flu, it's going to be here forever, and the government needs to stop their fearmongering and state that fact. Stop trying to inflate each new variant to the DEATH VIRUS. Covid is progressing just like every other virus out there, it's becoming more contagious and less deadly. Sure, there will still be people who die, just like the flu kills tens of thousands of people every season, but now it's just time to get back to living your life. No matter what anyone tells you, there will never be any such thing as 'zero Covid' and people are going to have to come to grip with that fact.

Agreed, but in the case of covid you need to keep the vaccination rates a lot higher, at least for a few years. Well, at least that's my suggestion.
I see a return for a few people wearing masks on the street here as well. Completely of their own volition. But museums and restaurants and art galleries and entertainment are mask free still.
Good thing the virus knows the difference in a museum/art gallery and an outdoor sporting event.

Latest virus results in. Still negative even though I was in direct contact all last week with co-worker who along with his wife,tested positive.
You'll be alright, Kevin. I bet you have been in contact 50 times you never even knew you were in contact. You're vaxxed, right?
