Well, Grandma passed today. It was just my mom with her at the time, her only daughter and the one child of hers who has done most of the heavy lifting during her decline with dementia. My mom said granny's breather got very soft, mom said a prayer wither her, and told her she should go, and she did.

Family all got together and drank wine and ate pizza at my folk's place tonight. A few tears but a lot of relief now to be honest. The bitch about dementia is that your family member is sort of already gone long before their body gives out.
