I am already soooooo fucking sick of the way the left is deifying Ginsberg. FFS you would think she was Gandhi, Mother Theresa, and Jesus Christ all rolled into one. They have all lost their minds over this. And the threats coming out about "burning it down" if Trump tries to fill the vacancy before the election? All these people should be charged with threats of domestic terrorism at the very minimum and depending who they are and what positions they hold, charged with treason.
I don't even recognize the country I live in any longer.
I think if I ever meet Bill Gates, I'll punch him in the face.

Who's saying that?
For context...
"I want you to use my words against me: if there's a republic president in 2016 and a vacancy in the last year of the 1st term, you can say Lindsay Graham says 'you can let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination, AND YOU CAN USE MY WORDS AGAINST ME' and you'd be absolutely right" ---Sen. Lindsay Graham
"The next justice could fundamentally alter the direction of the Supreme Court, and have a profound impact on our country, so, of course, of course, the American people should have a say in the court's direction" ----Sen. Maj. Leader Mitch McConnell
"I don't think we should be moving forward in the nominee, in the last year of this president's term, I would say that if it were a republican president" --Senator Marco Rubio
"President Obama is eager to appoint Justice Scalia's replacement this year. But, you know, in the last eighty years, we have not once Senate confirmed a nomination made in an election year, and now is no year to start" ---Sen. Ted Cruz
For Context:
But in 2016, when a lame-duck President Obama tabbed Merrick Garland to replace the late conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, Democratic leaders had no problem with the move. And neither did Ginsburg.
"There's nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being the president in his last year," Ginsburg said in a 2016 New York Times interview in which she called for Garland to receive a confirmation vote in the Senate.
Yes, but what actually happened. It's not like Obama rammed him down their throats

Here's the way it works: The President nominates a candidate judge for the Supreme Court, and the Senate either confirms or denies the nomination. Period, end of. If the President and Senate majority are the same party, then the nominee will more than likely be confirmed. If the President and the Senate majority are not the same party, the nominee will more than likely not. It doesn't matter what year of the term the President is in. It doesn't matter if a general election is mere weeks away.
Personally, I believe all Supreme Court nominees should be dedicated to uphold the letter of the Constitution and the Amendments as written, but we can't have that kind of crazy talk in this day and age, now can we?
