I had been buying mostly pre-made stuff at the grocery store to bring to work because, lazy. And it was easier than making food every night and get it ready to bring to work, plus while it did cost more than making my own food, it was still at a price point where I could justify doing it. Well, with the stupid inflation and the skyrocketing prices at the grocery store, I can't justify doing that anymore, it's become ridiculous with most of the stuff I used to buy being up between 50% and 100% over where it used to be. So I bought different types of bread/rolls, lunch meat, etc to make lunches.
Yesterday, I stopped at the store to get a few more things because I like to have a good variety of stuff because I get bored of eating the same thing over and over. I wanted to pick up some jam/jelly because every now and again, I like a good PB&J sando and the ingredients will last forever when stored right. We already have peanut butter at home, so I just needed jelly. My favorite is raspberry. It's been awhile since I have bought any and I was just stunned at the price. The larger sized jar of raspberry jam was $10. For jam. Un-fucking-believable. I went with the smaller jar and that was still $5.50.

Anyone in the market for a fixer-upper?
For $500 its worth it, think of your tax liability, Camden is a shit hole though, so it could be a nice trap house
IDK, looks like those places are between 100 and 125k. I imagine there is money to be made
Is Camden NJ unsafe?
No surprise to anyone, it's Camden, New Jersey. At number 14 of the top 100 most dangerous cities in the country, Camden has a Violent Crime Rate of 16.5 per 1,000 residents. In plain talk, that means your chance of being a victim of a violent crime in Camden is a frightening 1 in 61
Sounds awesome
They're actually nice houses. Well built in their time. Shame!

I gave up on having food at work. It's even more expensive at the island grocery and no matter where I hide my food someone finds it and eats half of it. More often than not I'll hit the little food shack at the "family fun center", They have good food, made to order and he gives island employees a 20% discount. Fresh angus burger and fries is like 10 bucks with tip. And he's got a bunch of snack stuff like soft pretzel bites with cheese for only a few bucks.
