Why do people freak out if you don't use "hot" water to wash your hands? There is no difference in using hot or cold water because you cannot wash your hands in hot enough water to make a difference to kill bacteria or viruses on your skin.

most likely is that oils have a lower viscosity at higher temperatures, allowing the soap to more thoroughly help it form a solution and get washed away

You're supposed to wash your hands for 20 minutes, that's long enough for the soap to work

you definitely want to use cold water if you're trying to get weed tar off your hands

9 weeks in and at today's weigh in on down 22.5 lbs. Even though the weight is coming off slower now, I'm still pretty happy with my progress.

My sweet puppy hit puberty hard this week

We'd been doing so well on training, his recall was solid, but I'd read that they can become 'teenagers' around 9 months and regress. That's exactly what's happened. Now he'll bolt if he sees a cute female dog, and just wants to hump. Not listening nearly as well out on walks and taking him to the dog park isn't fun because I'm just pulling this horny ball of fur off of other dogs the entire time.

Maybe it'll pass, but I think it's probably time to neuter

I lol. After years of having male dogs, we have 3 female now , though not necessarily by design. They are sooooo much easier to train.

I read somewhere once: "If you want a good dog, get a male. If you want a great dog, get a female and cross your fingers." I've never owned a female dog so I can't say I know exactly what that means, could just be an old wives tale, but very interesting to hear you say that.

Another nice day today. Unfortunately, I possess no energy to actually go and do anything. I went and picked up groceries at Walmart and that took just about all the energy I had for the day.
