How much data do I need? I can get the Motorola Droid MAXX for less than $70 through Verizon (which I'm currently on and eligible to upgrade my plan). I have no idea how much data I need, given that I use absolutely no data whatsoever on my current phone. I don't even text people. I just use it to make quick calls. I'll have no desire to watch videos on it and I don't do the Facebook/Twitter thing. The lowest data plan is 250MB, then 500MB, then 1GB, then 2GB. I sincerely doubt I'll need anything over 1GB.

I have 5GB on my hotspot and I have it hooked to a laptop at work as well as the parts guy uses my wifi on his phone,Also goes to the islands with me every summer weekend I rarely go over 2GB.
I just looked and I'm at 684MB for the month with the cycle ending 3/12
