when I asked the rep how much something was (I was going to ask her in greek, but I thought that would be a bit weird so I decided against it) I have no idea why, but instead of letting her tell me how much it was I blurted out "You're lucky there, I was going to go all greek on your ass"....then I realised what I said and just looked at her kind of like this --> and she looked at me with a wtf are you looking at me like that face.... then I changed the subject..

I think I got away with it, but I'm pretty sure the thinks I'm a weirdo now

Hahaha... called Dish to cancel because I'm switching providers. I asked them to keep it running until Saturday, when the guy gets here to switch out the equipment. Thought all was hunky dory, then I look at the TV and they shut the shit off.

I already called the credit union, They've cancelled the charges and closed the account. They're issuing me a new card and account and will have it here by Monday. I'm glad I didn't need to buy anything this weekend.

I was out and about yesterday, but I paid cash for everything. The last time I used my credit card was at my Dentist's office last week.

I'm wondering if I should call my Dentist and let her know?

Mine was a renewal card that didn't get sent - got intercepted somewhere between the post office and my door. Got a call from Visa security asking if I was at Futureshop buying a $2000 TV! They didn't like the look of the dude and the signature didn't match.

Hopefully no undo-able harm is done. That incident made me into a debit card guy.

I filed a police report. Maybe they'll get lucky and catch whoever's responsible, although I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting. It'd be nice if I could catch him/her/it myself...

it would be nice to know who/where it was compromised, especially if it was an online purchase
