I think that when you supply your e-mail address, somewhere in their terms, you are giving them the right to contact you in perpetuity. And I have no idea how well those 'unsubscribe' links work. I've read that they are actually used to verify that your e-mail address is valid and they will keep e-mailing you regardless. I think you may need to actually contact a CSR to get it to stop, and even then I'm sure it's probably not easy.
The easiest thing to do is to flag those messages as spam so your spam filter will learn to send those right to your bulk mail folder and they won't clutter up your inbox. Also, you can always register a Yahoo of Gmail address and use it specifically for shopping online, that way you aren't getting bombarded with spam in your main e-mail account.
