I just realized something: Philly's out of the NFL playoffs, there's no NHL, and I frickin' hate the NBA. I'm frickin' stuck until Spring Training begins. Shit.

There, that's the new curved shower curtain rod hung and now to go hang the blinds in the office room and hook up the PC so I can put in a new HDD and re-install Windows this coming weekend

So, we finally have a desk and everything for the spare room so we can make it into an office. Since the room wasn't being used, I never hung the blinds up in there. Well, after installing the shower rod, I decide I might as well get those blinds hung. I get the brackets put in and go to put up the blinds and they don't fit (too big).



The package is opened and the size we asked to get them cut to is clearly written on the box, but upon measuring it, the blinds weren't cut at all. So I figure that maybe they just missed that one, so we had another set the same size. I open that one up, go to hang the blinds and same thing, too long. Measure that one and they weren't cut at all either. So now I have to bring them back to Home Depot because some moron doesn't know how to do their fucking job

Enlighten me as I've never hung blinds before....it's a bracket that runs the length of your window and the blinds attach to that?

Two brackets that go in the corner of thew window (there would be a third bracket in the middle if it was a long window for extra support on the blinds)

so talking about the blind length...why couldn't a person just move the outer brackets out a bit further to accommodate?

Exactly, you measure your windows, then go and pick out the blinds you want, then get them cut to size. It's because there isn't any kind of "standard" size for windows.
