how do you save your wallpaper as a picture without any icons on it?

they usually start that way before you set them as a desktop pic...

Umm.. let me see if I remember this without looking.... C: windows/ web/wallpaper? Should be in that folder somewhere. Unless it's in a pic folder somewhere

when you first viewed the pic, did you save it somewhere or just right clicked on the source and set as wallpaper?

thaqnks for the help guys, but I did it the old fashioned way and did some digging around.... somehow I remember posting the pic in the desktop picture thread and eventually found it. BTW, why the fuck do you guys change yourbackgrounds every 30 seconds? Mine's been the same for pretty much a year

Mine on my XP machine was the same for years. Now with the new comp I've got it set to rotate between 3 or 4 different ones.
