Yeah, the forced air heating/furnace was there, just the place never had central air installed...or a/c of any kind for that matter.

Two quotes back now so far and they vary quite a bit
My mom recently had her furnace and A/C replaced. Lowest to highest quote differences were about $6000. Name brands added a lot to the quote and she figured out that you can get a lesser known brand that is made by the same company as a name brand and save a lot of money. Well that was her theory at least.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
So far the quotes have both been from brand name companies (Honeywell and Rheem) and they are about $2000 apart.
To be fair, the Honeywell guy gave me three different options and his most expensive option is equal to the single price quoted to me by Rheem. So far the Honeywell guy though seems to have been the most thorough in doing the inspection and completing the quote.
