I punched out and now am at home for a couple days, it feels like friday to me!

We are slowing down as usual. People will wait til after the new year to get their cars fixed. Plus they are way more likely to use the insurance check for xmas shopping instead of fixing that dent.

The good news this year though is we have 4 techs to split work up between but everyone has vacations the next few weeks. Fewer techs = more work for me.

There will be someone off every day until after the new year.

Thanks for the reminder, Pony...just booked my van in for an oil change and a scuffing sound that started yesterday when I decelerate - doesn't happen when on the gas or the brakes. I'm thinking it's the wear indicator making its presence known. Bought the van used 2 years ago, and last year my mechanic said the brakes were OK still. My mechanic (been going there for 25 years+) was partnered with someone...he left and was going crazy doing it all solitary. Now he's hired another guy...sounds like he knows his stuff on the phone at least.

I'm going in for the first of 2 operations on my legs on Monday 16th Dec. meaning another festive season in plaster/moonboot and on crutches!! I just hope it doesn't snow like last year, that wasn't fun walking with 2 fucked legs and icy pavements!!

Best renew my xbox live membership. i've got ranking up to do on Halo4 & Forza!

the only bitch will be missing a few motorsport events and the not being able to drive thing. I suck at being a passenger! especially when my wife is driving my car!

We just seem to be getting busier and busier atm, next week is already looking mental Think i'm gonna start early all next week........ make up plenty of extra money in OT before my 4 day break
