I'm guessing they used untreated pine which is cheap shit.

They sell the stained/treated pine pickets here too, but those on the back fence are so dry rotted that I'm sure they used untreated.

Same here, worked out in the yard all day yesterday, it was only in the mid 80's but there was no breeze and no clouds...it was brutal. Can't wait for it to get into the mid and upper 90's
