I'll be getting a SSD when I can find a program to purge old files of off them.That slowdown thing after time makes me a bit nervous...

How would i know? Mine has lots of slots for adding more stuff I could add NO2 to speed it up and liquid nitrogen to cool it etc

There's two spare slots on the mobo to plug the new SSD into plus the cable that goes to the current internal drive has a spare 'power' cable coming off it......... should be easy

All i know is that my mobo has two slots spare right next to the slot that the current HD is plugged into........... so i assume i plug the new one into one of them and hope for the best

The new boards have a lot of different tech on them...I think mine has USB 3 slots and two different types of Sata ports (that run different speeds)

I was thinking that if there's no moving parts = no heat, minimal breakdowns...would be ideal for an external backup drive
