So the GF noticed what she thinks is avoidance behavior. I told her if the yelling has stopped the rest is not our concern.
But the stomping has also stopped and the neighbor won't look at or speak to me. I think maybe his grandson either left or he kicked him out.
Now I feel bad.
That and I have zero ability to deal with passive aggressive behavior. None.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
sounds like you had good ability to deal with it - go address it and shut it the fuck up
no ability to deal with it would have been using the butt of your shotgun to knock on their door

I hate that term...passive aggressive. At times all of us hold back until something pisses us off, then you hold back a little more for the sake of decorum. It's like we're conditioned to become that way. "Let things roll off of your back", "Compartmentalize", "Focus your stress upon something else"....versus, "Express yourself", "Let your feelings be known", "Communicate your displeasure", " Release the fucking hounds"
We get bombarded with 10 different suggestions on how to handle events in our lives...no wonder our brains almost short circuit when it comes time physically demonstrate our feelings.
One night here GF calls me passive-aggressive (in anger) and then after I explain what the post meant he apologizes profusely because he misread the intent of the words....thought I was throwing a whole bunch of shade at him and that was a million miles from the case.....was that him actually being P-A in text??

Ah, Easter with the in-laws, always a fun way to waste an entire day.
I'm so glad we pay so much every season for the kid's soccer....the girls had an away game on Saturday, game time arrives and none of the officiating crew is there (we almost never get linesmen, but that's another sore point for me for another time) so the home team appoints their own assistant coach as referee. About 8 minutes or so into the first half, the home team scores a goal that was clearly offsides and shouldn't have counted. He let the goal stand. A little while later, our ref finally shows up. Our team ends up losing 2-1 on a goal that never should have counted. Now I understand it's rec league and not a competitive league, but still, that's this team's first loss in more than 2 years and it never should have happened.
I used to play on a flag football team and we would occasionally have to ref when the 'official' refs wouldn't show up. We had an official guy come late and start reffing in the fourth quarter. He made a very bad call and cost our team the game. I was elected to discuss it with him and he tossed me from the game with 4 plays left (we used play counts for games, not clocks or times)
All teams were self coached and any coaches were usually players too. QB and coach from the other team came to our bench and apologized for the win, that's how bad it was
