we've had a few days of smoke from the Washington state fires...shouldn't complain but our air quality index is rated at 11, very high...meaning we should avoid doing heavy activity outdoors..
it's really hazy and I can smell the smoke inside our house....never noticed anything like this when I was a smoker

Pro tip: If you make them at home with canned chili, add about a tablespoon of corn starch to the chili as you stir it. It gets thicker and a little sticky and is perfect on the dog.
And if you use little skinny dogs, I'll slap you. Those big Hebrew Nationals are awesome.

Canned chili needs a helluva lot more help than just cornstarch.Pro tip: If you make them at home with canned chili, add about a tablespoon of corn starch to the chili as you stir it. It gets thicker and a little sticky and is perfect on the dog.
