That's if I could get away from work long enough to have a vacation. Last time I went away anywhere was when the g/f and me went to SF a few years back and I only took 2 days off from work to make an extra long weekend and things were a mess when I got back into the shop the next Monday plus I got at least a half dozen calls while I was in SF.

Went and looked at a wedding venue last night after work. All inclusive kinda place where you can have the ceremony and the reception all in one place. Was actually really nice but was more than I was hoping to spend. But looking around, it's fucking expensive no matter where you try and get married and some places are insanely expensive. Plus this place is close to home. Close to actually setting the date now.

That's having it on an off night and in the off season, the venue goes for almost $6K alone on a Saturday night during late spring and summer. That $6K is everything thought, the ceremony, the reception room, the food, DJ, florist, cake, photographer, one free night at a hotel and a few other things thrown in.

that's not horrible, we kept ours just about at that price too
