The pit, she's almost 15. She hasn't eaten in 2 days and the last time I saw her walk it's was painful, now she can't even stand. I'm hopeful she goes out in the yard tonight, because I'm hating the idea of taking her in to be put down.
She was a rescue we found as a pup, and been with us longer then my daughter, so its sad. My wife's a mess. I thought she may be gone this morning, but she keeps plugging along.
If we have to out her down, that's going to be tough. But what can you do ... she is immobile at this point.
I know it's hard, but if she's in pain... don't leave her in pain, Porky.

I wouldn't, but she seems alert and not complaining, just can't move around. If she makes it through the night, I may have to take her in. If it was me, I wouldn't want to be living that life. So I will give her the same respect

Man thats rough, I had to put down one of my dogs last year due to cancer. It was the hardest thing I think I have ever had to do. I feel ya man.

New sofa and love seat arrived yesterday, now we need to rearrange the living room to make everything fit/look right
On a related note, people on CL suck....you try and give away a free couch and you think it would be easy

I bet if you charged money for it, it would be easier to unload. People get suspicious when some random unknown Joe tells them that he wants to give them something valuable for nothing. There's too many horror stories about CL to have faith in the goodwill and generosity of others.

No, we were honest about it, said it was in only fair shape and needed a good cleaning. We had a million e-mails about it but the first few people we tried to give it to never showed up....fuckers.
