Why can't Deebakes be thanked or give thanks? Is there a story behind that?

His is a thankless life.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
It usually takes a few seconds directly after the post for the thanks button to show up.

Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.

Before Primus, Claypool and Primus guitarist Larry LaLonde were both in a late 80s thrash metal band called Blind Illusion. They released one album in '88, then jumped ship and formed Primus in '89. Preceding that, LaLonde was one of the guitarists of one of the US's first Death Metal bands, the Possessed.
I still have the first two Possessed albums, Seven Churches and Beyond the Gates. LaLonde played on both of them, as well as the Eyes of Horror ep, which was produced by LaLonde's guitar teacher, Joe Satriani.
