every fucking year the american anthem gets butchered.... every year. It started off so well too.... gaga has the voice to absolutely smash it if she sang it properly.

I feel your pain. The last truly breathtaking performance of our national anthem was Whitney Houston's at a Super bowl a while back. She definitely has the voice and range for it, but she needs to be a little more conservative in her delivery.I thought Gaga did better than most.
