Sure... but it's BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair)... all our furniture now is just utter crap from Craigslist we collected over years of being college students. We're leaving most of it for our friend who is taking over our apartment and starting fresh.

We're dumb and didn't realize there's a few weeks wait for deliver on the couches/chairs/tables we're ordering soooo we'll be living in a big empty condo for a few weeks

The government here just imposed a 15% tax on foreign buyers this month with no notice. Sort of wish I'd known that before we bought as it's speculated could bring prices down 5-10%... Personally I doubt it - there's not nearly enough supply in this city even among locals for prices to go down far. There's very little new construction happening which is the real issue. Foreign buyers are only 5% of sales, despite being the scapegoat to blame for high prices.

Either way, we've got a great mortgage, big down-payment and are in it long term even if there's a larger dip... I do worry about my friends who could be underwater on a 10-15% dip though.

200 years? I think that's fairly optimistic on your part unfortunately. They've been like this since the start of the religion and are the only major religion not to have advanced past the Dark Ages. They've been doing the same things for more than 1,400 years now and they show no sign of ever stopping.
