It's not a tourist problem at all and I would not hesitate to tell them to travel here.
Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and Lincoln Park Zoo, and a hotel room with me and them naked are all free. As is, of course, the beaches/lake front.

I'll talk to her in the next weekend or two, I might be in touch by PM for some contact details, etc. The one girl is likely coming to Cle with me to use my place as a "home base" to stay and leave her luggage while she travels in the US. She is flying out of CLE when it's time to go home and I'm 10 minutes from the airport.

Had some storms come through earlier. Not sure if connected to Florida hurricane, but doubt it. Lost power several rimes, last was for about 20mins. Just about to fire up the generator for evening bathing, etc, and power came back. All calm here
The storm has moved up the coast to the Carolinas. It should be off the coast of Virginia sometime Saturday. It's been gone from here since 3ish in the afternoon Friday. We had some mild wind (for a tropical storm, that is) and rain. The eye wall missed us by like 50-75 miles, so we didn't have to deal with that shit. There's some small deadfall in the yard, but no real significant damage around my way. Don't have to pay someone to trim the trees now, the storm took care of it for us.
