We want to add an upper level deck that the master bedroom opens out to. Get rid of the windows and put French doors in to go out onto the deck, that's gonna have to wait awhile

There's something to wheelchair cushions that focus on positioning, because my back has been killing me for weeks while sitting on an old cushion... the style of which I had been using for the past 24 years. It's a Jay Active. It's a molded foam cushion with a gel pad positioned where your ass goes. Well, those gel pads are delicate beasts and I pop them all the time. The shit gets all over, it ridiculously hard to clean up. And they're expensive as hell. Well I got tired of replacing them at $450+ a pop every time the internal gel pad burst, so I got this new cushion based on honeycomb technology from a company called Supracor. It's still expensive, but whatever. It came today. My back was hurting so bad before I started sitting on it, I was actually contemplating a ride over to the hospital. But I said, "let me see how this new cushion's gonna work", and I put it on the chair and sat on it... and wouldn't you know? The back pain disappeared. I hope this thing lasts for a while.
