No dental plan/insurance or is it just not covered?

I haven't heard back yet on how much the insurance will cover, but if it's more than $1000 I would be surprised. A lot of dental insurance doesn't cover much when it comes to orthodontics

For just me and the step-kid the insurance cost thru the company is $700/month

$747.06 a month for medical and dental subtracted right of my take home pay.. I think my work pays an additional $400 a month additional though for a total of $1147.06 a month.. $15,788.00 a year.

Yup, it's fucking ridiculous...plus, I have an $8000 family out of pocket deductible to make as well.

Yup, my co-pay for doctor visits is $35 and if I go to Urgent Care it's $75

No, that's my out of pocket max, I have to pay the 20% (or other percentage depending on what it is) like you until I hit the $8K
