We didnt bother this year, we have had so few the past few years. My kids made other plans and my wife and I got roped into a Gilligan's island group costume

I was considering going to see a movie but when today finally rolled around I just didn't feel like it. I was actually going to skip candy altogether, but decided at the last minute that it would be a bad move. Apparently, I should have stuck to my guns. Now I have to unload all of this crap somehow.

I'm in the same boat
It's our first year in this town home (sort of a town home, it's a ground level walkout of a high-rise) and we're not in a super prime spot for kids to hit a ton of homes trick-or-treating so we weren't sure what to expect this Halloween but bought a box of 90 candies anyways and carved some pumpkins... it's 6:45 now and I haven't had a single kid. At my parents place in the suburbs this was the busiest time so I think we're getting none this year
That's a bummer, those costumes always crack me up... and now I'm stuck with too much candy too

I've been in South Carolina for a few days, just realized I left my porch light on so the house wouldn't be dark. I didn't even think about Halloween and all the kids coming by.
Hope none of the little monsters egged my house.
