I'm glad I bought that AR rifle at the gun show. The places I was looking at them online jacked up their prices today.

We use State Farm, they are really good about settling a claim. Never had to fight with them over one. Also get a discount having homeowners and auto through them

I was with State Farm for 5 or 6 years before I made the (regrettable) change to Allstate. State Farm just kept slowly creeping my rates up higher and higher with every single renewal even though I never filed a claim with them.

The few times that I had them quote my insurance, they've been way high. Probably because I believe the Denver metro area gets hosed when it comes to rates.

These days, insurance companies will raise your rates at every renewal. They're expecting you to jump ship and they're just waiting to see at what price point you'll do it.

Time to change insurance companies. Currently with Allstate and I really HATE them. Got a quote from AmFam and one from Farmer's. The Farmer's quote is higher, but I dunno which is the better company between the two. I've learned from the past that cheapest isn't always the better option.

State Farm is generally good, USAA is ok, Farmers insurance. I have Western Reserve, have never had to use it. Some of the small companies seem Ok as they operate on lower overhead and even use third party adjusters but I don't remember names offhand.

Stay away from Geico, Allstate, Progressive, Safe Auto

I don't remember much about Travelers, Nationwide, and a bunch of the smaller ones as I'm mostly doing Enterprise rental work now and I rarely deal with adjusters any more. If I remember at work tomorrow I'll ask out estimator what else to stay away from.
