He was locked in a garage the whole time and the family said that they would feed him 'every 3 or 4 days'. So he had no real human interaction (not good interaction anyway) and he was starved for attention. He's a handful because basically he's still a puppy because of the way he was raised, he had no real development. And he really does want to be a good boy, he tries, it's hard for him. We've tried everything, we work with him to try and teach him, we take him to doggy day care to interact with other dogs, we even hired a personal in-home dog trainer (which WAS NOT cheap) to try and work with him and the other dogs all together. But for some reason he's becoming harder to calm down and he's getting mean/violent which like I said earlier, we just can't have in the house. The wife and the kid would get badly hurt if he turned on them, and he has snapped at them lately, with worrying frequency now. If he went to a house where he was the only dog and there were no small children and there was someone home with him all day to work with him, I know he would be a good dog.
Fuck, it's already starting to make me upset typing all this, we really don't want to get rid of him, but we don't have a choice at this point. We need to do something before someone gets hurt, or one of the dogs gets seriously hurt.
