It's really windy so it looks and feels horrible outside...we're getting 5-10 cms (around 4 inches) so it's a little jarring after sweeping up leaves yesterday.
She's driving west and just called me from Canmore saying things are getting better which is good. They have a brand new Silverado and that thing is a beast so she'll be fine.
This morning when she's here I'm all like - Don't let the door hit you on the way out, bye, drive safe, leave now, bye, I'll miss you, thanks for leaving, I mean staying here, bye

Bona fide spree killers are fucking scary. There's no rhyme nor reason. There's no way to screen for them. There's just no way to know until it happens. It could happen anywhere. Most of the time, the opportunity that presents itself to them is small. This is the worst possible scenario, a huge fucking event that he unleashed on.

I listen to a true crime podcast called Sword and Scale. Most of his stories are recent news items. If you listen to enough of them, exactly what you mention happens more often than not. Person was fine, no history of nothing and then they just snap one day and take down as many people as possible.
I'm not a living in fear sort of guy, yet after 50 podcasts or so I find myself looking at people in public differently
