Got an e-mail from the kid's school yesterday. Parent-teacher conferences are coming up next week and the e-mail said that they (the school) would like to feed the teachers a nice meal before the conferences start so would you (the parents) bring food for them to eat.



Yeah, because the parents don't give enough time and money to the schools, we should feed the teachers as well So if THEY want to feed the teachers, by all mean go for it, but I'm not bringing any food.

IMO, these people are way under paid and put a lot out there to specifically help and tailor an education for these kids.. I count on these people to look out for my childs best interest.. I have no problem bringing in a $5.00 plate a food as a nice gesture to show them they are appreciated.. Maybe it's different in your area.
