Why on earth is the Outback Steakhouse so popular?

Every single month, the in-laws insist upon having a get together (which is a story for another time ) and this month's was at the Outback. The food was mediocre at best. The service was sub-par. It was pretty awful considering that this place considers themselves to be a "steakhouse". And yet this place (at least the one closest to my place) is constantly packed. Never had good a good meal there (especially considering how expensive they are).

Yeah, maybe they were better, I don't go there hardly ever any more. Plus now there are much better choices for steak around town. For about 10% more (give or take) we can go over to Longhorn Steakhouse which is about 100 yards away and get awesome service and amazing steaks. Hell, even the last time I went to TGIFriday's and ordered a steak it was better than the one I had at Outback yesterday.

Surprisingly Outback always has a standing room wait to get in there... Speaking of Longhorn, my wife and I got this "porterhouse for two" the last time we were in there. That sumbitch was beautiful.. It looked like something Fred Flintsone would eat.. The sides alone for it were a treat.. The cut an entire head of garlic in half and grilled that and you could squeeze it onto your portion of the steak. If you get a steak at that level you definitely need to try their house prepared sauce for it. It doesn't come from a bottle. They make it there and like roast it or something and it comes out in a little bowl... Wonderful..

I thinks its like 30 ounces..

You gotta find him first. They can be pretty hard to see against certain environments. And the little fuckers are as fast as hell.

Roasted garlic might be the most underrated, underused techniques. It's fucking phenomenal and easy as hell to do at home. Throw that shit on a cheese platter, a pizza or a sandwich and people lose their minds

The charging port on my phone went bad. No smart phone, no work... no money. New phone via FedEx tonight.

I am going to help my future brother-in-law and family move today. I have a burner flip phone and a hand drawn map. (and a weird urge to make a mix tape)
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
