If you find yourself bored tomorrow and don't want to patronize the NFL, at 1 PM mountain time, the final NASCAR race of the season will be on. Four drivers are competing for the championship, one of which is Martin Truex Jr of Furniture Row Racing. They are a small team that doesn't have all the money of the ginormous teams and they are based here in Colorado, the only team NOT based in North Carolina. We do a lot of work for them and everyone here at work is pretty excited and so happy for the team to be in the position to win their first championship. Martin is a stand up nice guy and if anyone deserve to win, it's him.
The format is winner take all, so whichever driver finishes highest in the race will win the championship and Truex has been dominating all year. Just hoping he can do it for one more race

Got a job as a driver helper for UPS (holiday temporary... basically carry all the heavy shit). Not sure about this. $11/hr to be on call M-F, no guarantee of work. If you check in every morning, work or no, you get $150 at the end of the week.
And here's the kicker. I have to pay union dues. UNION DUES. That pisses me off more than the slave wage rates.
