The murder of a 13 year old girl who disappeared in broad daylight from a major park in Burnaby last year was finally solved. It was a huge case because it appeared to be random, in Burnaby where there are maybe 5 homicides a year.

Anyways... an arrest made of a Syrian refuge who’d been here *3 months.*

I’m trying not to be a dick but it makes me furious because our government has lashed out at anyone who criticized immigration policy.

Furthermore the CBC article misleading calls the guy a ‘Burnaby man who’s been in Canada 17 months.’ Ya... the murder was 14 months ago. Pussies.

Granted I’m not well studied on the topic but it seems that to insinuate they’re ‘far right’ based on what I’ve read about them today is b.s.

Maybe not. Current projections have Richmond getting hit by a ton of rain and at least Tropical Storm force winds. This is a big storm. I'll probably get a mess of wind and rain down here in coastal south Georgia.

In Australia the 'Liberal Party' is our main right-wing party. To me, this makes sense liberal= (purportedly) allowing individual freedom. No idea why they call the Left 'liberals' solely in the US. I put it in the same ass-end backwards category as spelling colour, color and using Fahrenheit instead of Celcius, ect, ect

I have accumulated a decent sum to invest. I have already put a good whack into p2p lending, roughly 7.5 to 9.5% returns from 3 to 5 years in Aus. Was about to drop 25k into 5 stock-market investment companies/apps to test the waters, see which one performs the best but just in the last week or so 5% drop in the market and lots of articles like this:
