I'm trying to find a new set of bedsheets/duvet cover... I'm so confused on how much an adult spends on this sort of thing

All these recommended/5 star reviewed sets on Amazon is like $35-40... but when I shop on the bay or nordstroms, decent sets are at least $200... wtf.

It's all about the thread count. And you don't need to spend a ton on bedding, seriously. Sure, you can get 1000 thread count super fancy imported Egyptian cotton sheets, but that's ridiculous. The wife and I found some really decent 400 thread count (maybe 500, I don't remember) at Walmart and for the price, they are awesome and have really lasted. I think we have 3 different sets of those sheets in different colors.
