(Wife trying to be helpful) (Opens dishwasher with single plate in hand) "is this dirty?" "yes" "Oh there's no room" (places plate in sink)

    After she goes to bed...

(adds 10 more dishes to dishwasher) (adds 10 more utensils to dishwasher) (hand washes pans)

I want the empirical data that says women still do more housework than men. I think it's a bullshit urban legend.

I think that may be one of the more universal experiences of married men. Re-organizing the dishwasher

Went to my friend's dad's 60th birthday today. Indo-Candians party hard Buddy rented a hall and invited *500* of his friends and family. I'm positive it cost more than my wedding. Pretty fun, incredible Indian feast and dancing, but I'm half his age and feel too old for this shit!

Don't get me started on the whole dirty dishes and dishwasher thing. The dishwasher is literally 2 inches away from the sink, but the kid and the wife insist on putting the dirty dishes in the sink instead. THE DISHWASHER IS RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO THE SINK FFS. Dirty dishes in the sink are a HUGE pet peeve of mine and I've told them both that before.

I was drunk arguing on the internet last night. I know I won because I woke up to a message to "do the world a favor a commit suicide". That's high praise for internet debating.

grrrrr....my brother and his wife are here and I'm seeing the exact same thing with the dishes. They are both big people, over 6 feet tall and heavy...and they are huge consumers of everything from food to dishes to incidental household supplies. I should take a picture of my formerly clean kitchen.

My brother and his wife are here. Don't get along with brother, usually the wife and I have no problems.

She starts doing massive amounts of laundry last night. She has some strange habits in terms of drying things, taking some things out, drying more things, hanging some things and standing by the dryer constantly opening and closing the door. (like 10 times in 30 minutes) Fine, we all have our idiosyncrasies.

Then she brings wet clothes upstairs and starts hanging things on some nice wooden railings we have separating rooms and puts more wet clothes on the backs of our dining room chairs. I politely asked what she was doing, I made a joke about how when I do laundry I tend to do it in the laundry room in the basement and please don't hang wet clothes on wooden fixtures.

She got mad and started to say- Apparently this scares you...I freaked out, interrupted her and said - We have a wooden clothes rack RIGHT BESIDE the dryer that you've used before. It works wonders for this purpose, allow me to get it for you!!!!

    I gotta stop these rants
