Unreal. I didn't read the story until you posted this, just saw the video the other day. Hope he's let off.

I just saw the video. Massive push and punch and any conflict was easily avoided.

Really? I just saw an adult drop a female child with a huge punch. Because she was yelling at him?

It was an aggressive threatening mob that surrounded him after he tried to help someone. He was shoved from behind, then shoved from the front. He response to the front shove was to push her back. She came back at him attempting to throw a punch and got leveled.

1. He was NOT the aggressor.
2. He is not responsible for assessing threat level, or risk of weapons, like police officer. There was clearly no crowd control to assist, and he can't assume good intentions with a mob.
2. Pure self-defense.
3. We would not be having this discussion if it was an aggressive threatening mob of white boys. We would be discussing the glaring examples of toxic masculinity.

Sorry, in the middle of a mob action, don't attack a veteran with PTSD. You might end up on your ass with a black eye, and deservedly so.

Does it look like excessive force? Yes. But he eliminated the threat; I can't judge that as an attack that warrants criminal charges.

Nope, after Dollar Shave Club went downhill, I went back to major brand. Currently using Schick, they have a delivery/subscription service too and the prices aren't bad.

That's interesting. What do you mean it went downhill? I was buying from Dorco, who made the blades for DSC, and I thought the blade quality deteriorated. That's why I changed.

Not sure if you know, but DSC was bought out by Unilever and ever since that happened, the quality of the blades went way down. To the point of even the very first shave with a new blade would cause nicks or cuts. So I'm not sure if Unilever changed blade manufacturers or what, but it became no better than trying to shave with disposables, which to me is barely one step above shaving with a broken bottle.

They paid $1 billion for a marketing and distribution firm, with no manufacturing plants, that was unprofitable, and only had $150 million annual sales. I clearly do not understand tech transactions. I guess they really wanted the marketing data, but damn...

I guess since they were already in the market with other shaving products (creams, gels, aftershave, etc) they wanted to try and get into the lucrative blade market and the quickest and easiest way was to acquire DSC.
