I'm at the part in the late 1930's where Mengele and a few other bright lights are working at a university type research facility (I forget the title of the place but it's a doozy).

They're approaching the idea of wholesale cleansing as if it's a kind favor to the recipients. Not so mcuh allowing the weak to die scenarios, more of - You have a disability, let us help you with that..

Mengele was in his late 20's and joined this place in 1937. Podcasters are saying this was the place where all of the ideas and planning were originally created that were later instituted into Hitler's cleansing plan. They had already removed every Jewish member of the universities across Germany and replaced them with full blooded German professors and assistants.
