Canadian couple visiting Vietnam got acid thrown on them. No theft, didn't recognize the attackers and now the husband has burns on 90% of his body. His entire face is completely fucked and his wife has burns as well, although she didn't appear to be the primary target. Happened in a normal shopping district from what I can understand.
I always envision a small beaker when I hear stories like this and the husband is burned from head to foot. What is wrong with people?
My current tab is a Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition I bought in 2013. Its been great, and the resolution is kick ass. The batteries are about shot, and now the charging port is flaking out. Its literally been around the world with me. I'm thinking about the new Samsung tab 5se 10.5. Very similar specs to the tab s4, and resolution is same as. Y note, but way cheaper that tab s4. The X-Men and mutants are official Marvel. The Gifted are the X-Men, essentially. Blink was in the movies, Polaris is the daughter of Magneto (and they hinted at it in the show), Thunderbird is in the comic books from the 70s, the Struckers are a big name in the comics (and one was in the films), and the Hellfire Club is everywhere (films and comics). The Gifted is under the Marvel Television umbrella. Technically the show was produced by two different companies, Fox and Marvel, pre-merger. Post-merger, Fox television will just be a division of Disney, a sister network of ABC, and that does not include Fox News and Fox Sports. We'll have to wait and see what happens after all is said and done, but there's no indication that the Gifted is getting canceled. Articles have stated that the showrunner's confident that it'll keep going, but it hasn't been renewed for a season 3 yet. If it is, we'll see if they keep it on Fox or move it to their bullshit streaming service.There's a shit-ton of good stuff on Netflix, original and older stuff. Besides, you had to know that stuff was going to get canceled on Netflix because Disney is going to start their own streaming service soon and they own everything Marvel.
It will be interesting what happens to The Gifted on FOX since it's based off X-Men. Not sure if that show is 'official' Marvel though.
Legion (FX channel) has one more season and then it's done. I don't think that has anything to do with the merger; as cool as Legion is, there's just only so much they can do with Charles Xavier's son and his fight with the Shadow King without pulling in a whole mess of other characters from the X-Men universe that they don't have permission to use. Hawley (showrunner) has stated that he always envisioned 3 seasons. Could be just saving face, but then again...

I haven't seen any of the X-Men films and I know they are official Marvel, but I didn't know how 'official' The Gifted was, even though I know they reference the X-Men all the time. I guess it was mostly because it seems at the start of every official Marvel show, they do that whole Marvel logo thing where it's flipping through comic pages and then reveals the Marvel logo. And there's nothing like that on The Gifted. I do like the show a lot and it's made me want to go and actually watch the films now.
And it will really suck if the show gets renewed and Disney pulls it from FOX to put it on their streaming service.
I got our Tab S4 on sale over Christmas for $499.

Seriously, when I was in the thread I was stuck on page 2850, but it was showing 2851 in the page numbers. I couldn't get to page 2851 without posting. The subforum index was only showing 2850 pages. Lance's post above about the Tab S4 was the one I couldn't see.
