So does mine, it looks like a 4WD trail

Of course because it's been designated as a "tertiary street" by the city, that means we NEVER get plowed

We've had two full days of intense melting and it's still covered in ice and snow.

My trip to Superstore last week (huge busy mall on the west side of our city) looked a lot like that storm footage on your highway

I'm sorry, it's just gets so hard to drive in this crap. I'm tired of winter.

I don't mind winter that much, I never have really. What I absolutely hate is what we have here from November thru March...winter, spring, spring, winter, spring, winter, sporing, winter, winter, spring, winter, spring, summer, winter, spring.

The weather in this state is ridiculous. And then anymore we come straight out of 'winter' and go into a blazing hot summer.

I can handle the cold and all of the snow shoveling, it's the driving I hate more and more every year. You've heard me bitch about the lack of snow removal on our streets after snowfalls and now it gets to the point where you can't drive, even if you wanted to. You have to start planning your food trips and other errands based on which roads can be driven on. If you saw how our city council spends money on some things and then basic needs like this are ignored more and more every year, it becomes so frustrating. People literally can't make it to work because there's 200+ accidents every time it snows. That's just not right for a Canadian city.

That fat brown effeminate person is more concerned with social media and the Olympics (ha ha failed bid you asswipe) that he is with local issues.

I was about one step away from organizing a very visible revolt saying - If you don't keep the streets relatively safe during winter, then we as a group will only pay a percentage of our yearly civic taxes It's only fair.

I just can't fathom why, after all these years, people STILL say that reducing the rate of increase for a federal program is a "cut". It's been a fear-mongering lie my entire life and it perpetuates to this day.

Let's say you project that your home budget spending is $50,000 in 2019, an increase of $10,000 over 2018. You decide that's a bit much, so you try to cut it to only an extra $7500. OMG! You cut spending! The children will starve!

    The fuck? No.

It's just like the tactic that stores use to convince you to buy crap you don't need. There's a furniture store here running a sale, "save" $100 for every $1,000 you spend! If you're enticing me to come in and buy things that I wasn't going to buy, but I go do it because of your 'sale', I'm not saving $100, I'm spending $900. People don't seem to grasp that concept.

I hate this - Save 299 if you buy one of these now! I try to find to find out what the the regular price was, see that they can comfortably afford to knock 300 off that and still make a profit, and then think huh. At regular pricing they were really raping me.
