I made arguably my greatest pun ever today.

Both headlights burnt, one yesterday, one today. It was nearing dusk. I was getting new bulbs, one free via warranty, and still needed to stop at Target. Finished at Target, racing to get home with no headlights. I text the wife.

"I am in a race with darkness"
"I am a light rationalist"

So... was anyone using firefox last night/early this morning? They accidentally rolled out an update that disabled almost every extension, namely adblock. Their twitter blew up and they live updated working on a patch for a good 12 hours.

Have you guys seen the fucking internet without adblock? It's.... horrible.

I'm angry about this. I haven't seen the internet for years without an adlblocker. I actually thought some of my bookmarks changed.

And if they don't fix it today I won't be watching Game of Thrones tonight

I just got my summer tires put on last week and I have a slow leak in one of them. Noticed it last summer, took it to a place and they checked it in the tire bath saying they couldn't find the leak.

It's slow, less than a pound per day but I know it's not the tire sensor because I have good hand gauge.

So it's probably the valve stem or the bead on the rim. And right now is the busiest time for tire places because everyone is changing their winter tires.

Got a nice little notice in the mail from the county yesterday. They've reassessed property values again (2nd time in 2 years) and they have raised the value of my house just more than $81,000. That's a 27.5% increase. Awesome, because we don't pay nearly enough in taxes now.

Mine is 2/3rds market value. They haven't learnt the American way yet...
