A lot of my neighbors are old, and the ones that aren't old aren't all that much to look at, so I think I'll pass.

People used to try and tell me that Chicagoans had a large interest in astronomy. That's not why you'd see so many in the apartment buildings. I'd just say "oh, that's interesting".

I think I would have loved a telescope back when I was a student in college. I knew all the coeds had no fear, and they wouldn't close their windows in their apartments in the building we all lived in. A few of them told me point blank that they loved walking around their apartments naked. God, I miss college.

Well, I am outside looking up at the skies more often than not when I know a meteor shower's coming... so I guess it's a cool gift. If nothing else, if I ever get the desire to see the 10 things that consumer telescopes are capable of rendering, I'll have it covered. Or if I ever move to a place where there's a bunch of college girls that leave their windows open and love to walk around naked...

I was attempting to fix my JCP buy at a closer store. There was a $40 pricing error and the full ticket discount was 15% not 20%. The lady had to redo the entire thing line by line. She got to a point where the POS system would not accept any more changes. I told her the rest was fine as is. That's when she said the most amazing thing. "Child, please. I'd get MY money".
