One woman is having outright battles with him online claiming it's a hoax. Her husband or ex-husband was found dead and they believe he was looking for it at the time.

Four people have died that they've associated with specifically looking for it, and the authorities are saying - We can't help what people want to do in their free time. We won't stop Mr Fenn from publishing clues or saying the treasure is real.

Fenn has said people have been within 200 feet of it He's really doubling down that it's real.

Yeah but if you read about his history, he was never cruel. Decorated with war time medals and lived a pretty clean life after.

Apparently his art dealership made 6 million a year so he would have the means to do it.

And he's a fairly well spoken and well written author.

I guess we'll probably get some sort of blurb after he dies saying whether it was real or not. He seems like the type to put that into his will.

Here's one that is still supposedly out there. I've been through the area (Handcart Gulch) where the treasure is supposedly hidden. It's in the middle of nowhere on a 4WD road. Supposedly no one has found it yet.

He literally said - It's in a place where an 80 year old man could get to on foot, carrying a 42 lb chest in a backpack. No need for equipment to reach to the spot the chest resides at.

This is my favorite day of the year, June 21st, first day of summer

Most amount of light during one day for the entire year.

It's raining and grey and blah outside but I don't care. All of the leaves and plants are out and the world feels like it's breathing again.
