So I see a Pride parade on TV in eastern Canada and the big recent news is the gay community still does not allow/invite the police department to take part in the festivities. Police have been great, apologizing for past treatment and acknowledging some of their bigoted actions and views. Most of the dissent comes from a court case where a gay serial killer up here was preying on gay men and the police department were caught not following up on leads and were exposed for not committing the same resources as they would with a 'normal case'.

But the first thing I see in the parade are two larger women or trans people, wearing really, really small thong-like gymnast suits and bending over, slapping their asses and thrusting their crotches to the camera.

Spokeperson says - We just want to be treated the same as other citizens and not be discriminated against in any form.

Then why the fuck in 2019 are you still making this a dodgy public burlesque show that makes me, a fairly liberal person, cringe and get embarrassed???

And you keep on shutting down the cops when they're offering an olive branch. It just aggravates the tension.
